Got a call from someone pretending to be O2, telling me my SIM card needed updating and they’d be sending a new one by courier. They warned me my phone would stop working in 24 hours if I didn’t agree. They also tried to get me to confirm my email address. I asked them to say the email out loud so I could check it was right, but they couldn’t. Sounded like an Indian call centre. Totally dodgy, so don’t hand over any details on the phone. Definitely a scam.

Got calls every day from a different number, some bloke claiming to be from O2 saying my SIM was about to stop working and needed replacing. He asked for my email to 'confirm' or something. Never once sounded legit and the numbers definitely weren’t from O2. My SIM’s still fine now, weeks on! Definitely one of those dodgy scam calls.

Got a call from someone acting like they were from O2 - I just cut it off and blocked the number straight away.
