073943388651 Just got a text saying "Hi mum, using my mate’s phone cause mine’s nearly dead. Can u message me on this temp number?" Honestly, these scams from Amazon and Royal Mail clones are driving me nuts. Who do these fraudsters think they’re fooling? I’ve blocked the number straight away. Hopefully this info helps someone. It’s crazy how people can just carry on with this nonsense and nothing gets done about it!

My mum called me and mentioned something about my kid being in some kind of trouble. She asked me to save her number and to text her once I’d sorted everything out. It sounded a bit urgent and kinda worrying to be honest.

Got a message saying “hi mum, I’ve broken my phone” and it was saved straight away. But then I had a closer look and saw it was just a dodgy scam. Ended up blocking the number and deleting the message.

SCAM ALERT. Got a text saying "Hey Mum, I've broken my phone so can you keep my new number for now till I get it fixed? Ping me on 07394347881 once you’ve saved it." Definitely a trick, don’t fall for it!

Just like lots of others, my mum called saying she'd broken her phone or something along those lines.

Got a dodgy text saying something like: “mum, I've smashed my phone, so can you hold on to this new number until it's sorted at the repair shop?” Then they asked to be messaged on 07394347881 once saved. Total spam, obviously.

I got a text from this number +447841655034 claiming to be my "Mum." The sender said their phone was broken and asked me to save a temporary number, 07394347881, so that the messenger knows I’ve saved it. The message ended with three kisses. I never saved that new number nor replied to confirm anything. Oddly, the text woke me up about 6am but it was timestamped at 3am. I get that maybe they want me to ring or message back, but why do I have to save the number first? Very fishy if you ask me.

In the space of an hour, my landline has rung about five times from them! It’s seriously frustrating.

Got a call from this number, no one said a word on either end and then it just ended. Pretty sure it was just another annoying spam call.
