Blocking these numbers is pretty useless. Scammers constantly switch between countless bogus numbers to trick people. There were a couple of messages on here on 3rd May, more than a page ago, about how to report these scams properly. But if folks don’t take any action, nothing’s ever going to change.

The message mentioned Evri, which I know is the new name for Hermes. I copied the message and texted 7726, as I heard that’s the number to report scams. They replied asking for the number the message came from, which was 07394 120657 in this case. I’m flagging it as suspicious since I’m working from home and haven’t seen any delivery van around my place at all. Feels like a scam to me.

Beware of Sanako Service Ltd - they’re a dodgy outfit registered in the Marshall Islands. They run a whole bunch of bogus businesses selling stuff like PCR tests, holiday properties, live ammo, life insurance and even crypto. Some of their other dodgy sites are coin-mining-Farm.com, Riveraammunition.com, Finvestings.com, and Mind mining.com. They spoof phone numbers to make it seem like the calls come from reputable UK firms. Also, they seem to funnel their cash through ClearJunction.com. If you get any suspicious calls from them, make sure to report it to the FCA UK and Action Fraud UK.
