Tried ringing me but didn’t bother leaving a message. Kinda makes you wonder what’s going on, doesn’t it?

This number rang me claiming to be from O2, saying they needed to switch my SIM over. They asked for my email and sent a code for me to read out, supposedly from Microsoft. It felt dodgy, especially when they kept saying “just hold the line a moment” over and over. I ended the call, changed my passwords quickly. Afterwards, I looked up the number and found out it’s linked to a scam.

Got a call that lasted just a couple seconds, no message left and all I heard was a guy’s voice, but I couldn’t make out who it was. Didn’t answer when I tried to call back.

It was a UK number, but the accent was so obviously fake. When I didn’t reply, they just started speaking in Hindi instead.
