Hats off to this number for taking the cake in the “Most Audacious Scam Caller” category! 🤡 Got a call with a voice so monotone and robotic, I swear even my Alexa was embarrassed. Pretended to be from HMRC - if you’re gonna fake the tax office, at least try sounding a bit more human and less like a faulty robot. The classic “You’ll be arrested!” scare tactic was as over-the-top as a bad soap opera plot. Nearly applauded their effort before I remembered I don’t even owe any taxes.
