Got a call from a woman with an American accent, automated message, saying HMRC were taking court action against me because of some fraud alert from their system. She said I'd get legal papers in the post unless I pressed 1. I went ahead and pressed 1. Then a guy with an Indian accent answered, saying thanks for calling HMRC, how can I help you? I told him about the court action message, asked what it was about. He mumbled something I couldn't make out and then just hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam.
