Got a call from a woman named Amanda (bit suspicious, right?). Said I was eating breakfast when she rang. Later on, she phoned again from another number (07486292110), saying Microsoft had detected issues with my PC. Played along, kept the chat going, all the while using a different computer that doesn't even run Windows. Eventually she twigged I was messing about and sounded proper annoyed. Honestly, I feel no pity for those scammers targeting unsuspecting folks with these tech tricks.
