I didnt answer the phone but they left a voicemail by mistake. In the background, I could hear shouting and loads of people talking, sounded like a busy office. The voices had a South Asian accent, so it felt like it could be a scam call centre or something fishy.

Somebody rang saying they were from Vodafone and offering a massive 40% discount plus the new iPhone 17 with unlimited everything. I said I wasn’t a Vodafone customer, but they just said they deal with all networks anyway. Then they asked how much my monthly phone bill was. I told them I had no idea cos someone else covers my phone payments. They kinda faltered after that, realised they couldn’t get any info, and just hung up. Seriously, if they start probing about your personal stuff or money, just end the call straight away - don’t get caught out!

Got a call from someone claiming to be from EE, sounded like they had an Asian accent. My husband said they promised to ring back but then just ended the call on me.
