This morning around 9, I noticed a missed call from that number. I had my phone on silent since I'm really tired of all the calls I keep getting.

Somebody rang me saying they’d just got a call from my number. I told them that couldn’t be right and asked what number they got. They gave it to me, then asked who I was. I said I wasn’t telling and that I’d be reporting them instead.

I can vouch for this number being from Key Equity Release. They actually emailed me beforehand to say they'd be ringing. { I also double-checked with Key using a trusted phone number from their official website. I mentioned to them that these calls are causing quite a bit of stress for people, and they said they’d look into sorting it out. Hopefully this info helps others. Like me, I’m wary of unsolicited calls so I always make sure to ring back using a verified number to be certain who I'm talking to. Better to be cautious, honestly.

Got a call from some bloke who said his name was Andy. He wouldn’t really say much about who he was working for, but later I found out he was linked to a company called Keys Equity Release Online. I had filled out one of their forms before, so maybe he got hold of that somehow. Weird that he just called without explaining who he was first. Checked their Trustpilot rating afterwards though.
