Honestly, getting a Truecall phone for about £30 has been the best buy ever! It only lets people in my contacts ring through straight away; anyone else has to say who they are first before I pick up. This way, I get to choose if I want to answer or just ignore them. Big thanks to everyone who posted before and helped me spot those dodgy scam numbers - really useful!

I got a text supposedly from Amazon saying there was some weird activity on my account with huge amounts involved. It told me to press 1 or 2 to sort it out or talk about it. No way I’m falling for that, it really winds me up!

I've had this number ring me twice already today. When I pick up, there's silence for a bit, then you get that typical call centre noise, and before you know it, the call just cuts off. Not sure if it’s spam or something else, but it’s definitely a bit dodgy.

I got a text about a voicemail saying to click on some link, it was something like https:/quitagorasp[###]... Definitely looked dodgy to me.
