Another one of these scam numbers ringing me up. This is at least the fifth time some different number’s claimed to be from the ‘national crime board’. I just hung up straight away and blocked it. The voice is robotic but tries to sound legit, total scam for sure.

I didn’t pick up the phone but I had a feeling it was the same. I also got a life insurance quote from compare the market. I went through a few options even tho it was all done online. I even mentioned to them I wasn’t interested in moving forward, thought it was polite since I asked for the quotes. Still getting loads of calls though, so I usually ignore them now. I'm having the exact same problem. Since I searched for life insurance prices, I've gotten calls from like 13 different numbers, this one included. Every time I block one, another pops up ringing me shortly after. It's beyond frustrating!!!

James at Life Search? Watch out if you're using Compare the Market. You could end up getting loads of annoying calls afterwards. If Compare the Market actually cared about their reputation, they’d sort this out or rethink their whole approach.

Reading all these comments, I'm guessing it’s because I got a life insurance quote on MoneySupermarket. I chose to be contacted by email, not phone, but I’ve had to block my number anyway, along with about 5 or 6 other mobile numbers that ended up getting the same!

Exactly the same here, looked on compare the market. I clearly said no calls, wanted everything in writing instead of trying to keep track of what they say on the phone.
