Got a text from a number I didn’t recognise claiming to be from the DWP, saying they couldn’t process my winter fuel payment due to missing info. But the DWP wouldn’t send messages from some random mobile number, and there was a dodgy link in the text - no way was I clicking on that. Total scam attempt if you ask me!
