Got a call claiming to be from PayPal saying my account’s been restricted for security reasons and I needed to click a link right away or they’d suspend me. Problem is, I don’t even have a PayPal account! Just last week, someone pretending to be from Inland Revenue called me, and before that, it was a supposed HSBC representative. It’s obvious these con artists have my phone number somehow.
