Got a call from 01269849929 too, just like some others mentioned. Pretty sure it's one of those computer scams.

Kept calling nonstop so I just blocked the number.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Microsoft, saying my computer was being hacked. Honestly, I think he was just trying to scam me. I hung up pretty quickly, but he rang back a couple of times after that. I don't really believe it's legit - Microsoft wouldn’t be ringing from a mobile number like that, surely?

The phone rang from this number at 7.54am, but I didn’t pick up.

Got a call about a laptop order, but I told them we don’t own one.

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT and there was an issue. I cut him off straight away because, first off, who calls at 7.45 in the morning? Then I said my husband works for BT and he hasn’t said anything about any problems. The bloke then said he was the manager, but the moment I asked for his name, he just hung up on me!

We got woken up by a call where no one said a word.

Got a call from someone saying they were Michael working for Microsoft. They said there was some issue with my Windows PC and that it was getting infected with bad software. I just blocked the number right away.
