Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise and after looking it up, seemed like it could be dodgy.

They called claiming it was to inspect our smart meter and asked for our address. Since then, they haven’t picked up any of my calls.

They claimed to be from the tax office.

They didn’t pick up the phone and left no message, so it’s obviously not something urgent. This number, along with 07391 577090, has been ringing me quite a bit, so I’ve decided to block both. I have a strong feeling it’s linked to some sort of bitcoin scam or investment nonsense, probably trying to bait me with some random rubbish I never signed up for. Typical, really!

I've just had a call from this number. There was a faint sound of the telly in the background, but not a word was uttered. Seems dodgy, if you ask me. Not worth my time, so I’ve decided to block it.

Received a call where they inquired if I was Hayley. To my surprise, they then mentioned my maiden name, a title I haven’t used for more than a decade. Clearly, this is a scam!
