Some Indian woman called saying she'd send me a new iPhone with a contract, obviously a scam. When I called her out, she told me to piss off and just ended the call.

A man with an Indian accent called me and knew my name, claiming to be from British Gas. But I live out in a village where we don’t have any gas supply at all. As soon as I told him this, he just ended the call.

Got a call from a man speaking with an Indian accent asking if I was with British Gas. He somehow knew my name but there was a big lag on the line which made me think he probably wasn’t calling from the UK. Plus, why would British Gas ring from a mobile number? I'd say best to just ignore it and block straight away.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent who knew my name and claimed he was from British Gas. When I asked some questions, he just hung up. Tried calling back to have a word, but guess what? Couldn’t get through at all.

They called and got my name all wrong, claiming to be from British Gas and wanting to update my details. I asked twice if they were really from British Gas, they said yes, then suddenly asked if I'm still with British Gas! I told them if they were legit they’d already know. Ended the call there.

I got a really impolite guy with an Asian accent on the phone, and I could barely catch what he was saying. I had to ask him to repeat himself a couple of times, then he just started yelling at me to pay attention! He mentioned something about fees linked to my bank account. I told him to stop and blocked the number straight away.

People who get scammed really shud get in touch with their local MP and push the Government to do sometin about it. Scam callers just dont care about the TPS or ICO rules. If these organisations dont make a difference, then whats the use of them?

Got a call from an asian bloke who already knew my name. Told him to quit phoning me and he just went crazy, shouting awful stuff about what he supposedly did to my mum and all that. Couldn’t shut him up, so eventually I just started chuckling and he got even more mad, then finally hung up. Seriously, one of the strangest calls I’ve ever had. Watch out for this!

Got a call from an Asian sounding bloke about PPI. I cut him off, told him someone from his team rang me yesterday and I wasn’t interested. Then he muttered, “these damn people,” so I told him to say that to my face if he’s gonna speak to me like that and hung up. He rang back, accused me of threatening him and started shouting all sorts of nasty words before ending the call... charming!
