Got a text on my phone supposedly from the winter heating support team saying I could apply for a subsidy. There was a link included but I just deleted the message straight away, it seemed like a total scam.

Got a call from this number claiming it’s about Winter benefits and that I qualify. They asked me to get in touch and finished off by thanking me for backing the UK Government. I haven’t replied and won’t be, it definitely sounds like a scam to me.
