Got a call from a number I didn’t recognise, no voicemail left. Felt like a scam so I just blocked it. Watch out for these kinda calls!

Some bloke said he was calling from O2, telling me my number was about to be shut off within a day. They wanted to know when I'd be home so they could post a replacement SIM. Then they started asking for personal details, which I didn’t give. I asked them for my own name, and they couldn’t say it. After that, I just ended the call and blocked the number. Surely, if there was any truth to it, I’d have had an email by now.

Got a call from someone saying they were with O2, telling me my SIM card was “expired” and would be blocked in 2 days. They wanted to know if I’d be home to receive a new SIM the next day and kept pressing me to verify my account info. I said I’d ring O2 myself and then they got really pushy. Felt really suspicious to me.
