Somebody rang me claiming to be from O2, but I haven't been with them for like 15 years. The moment I told them that, the phone just went dead.

I picked up and after a few seconds I could hear all this noise like it was coming from some sort of call centre. I asked if someone could atleast talk to me properly but they just put the phone down without a word. Proper rude if you ask me.

Someone called me saying they were from Sky and offering to reduce my bill for the upcoming year. They wanted me to verify my email, and I had to keep spelling it out because they didn’t seem to get it. Then the call dropped, but they quickly rang me back, using a different phone number this time.

Got a call from some robotic voice saying there was an issue with my SIM and that my mobile contract was about to expire or something urgent like that. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were with EE, threatening to cancel my sim card. The funny thing is, I don’t even have EE as my provider. The woman spoke in a really thick Indian accent, which made it really hard to get what she was saying.
