Got a call from someone who started with "I won't waste your time," and I said, "Actually, you are, since I didn’t ask for the call." Then she went, "Well, you didn’t have to pick up, idiot," and just hung up on me.

Got a call asking to speak to my mum about her life insurance. Told them they had the wrong number and then they started asking if I knew when she'd be back, but cut off halfway through and hung up on me. I’ve blocked the number now. After checking out other comments, it’s obvious they’re just annoying scammers who don't know when to quit.

They keep ringing every 15 minutes, it's so annoying. Seriously, don't pick up - it's just a total waste of time and such a pain.

Got a bloke called 'Pete' ringin' me up, sounded like he had a thick accent, going on about some government scheme for switching out boilers. Kept hassling me even though I told him I don’t even own a boiler! I’m on the TPS list and my number’s ex-directory, too. Proper annoying!

Got a call from someone with an accent saying I could have a boiler replaced for free. It definitely sounded like one of those call centre jobs. Since I know that only people on certain benefits qualify, I just hung up. This is the second time this month I've gotten the same call, even though I'm registered with the TPS.
