Got a call from someone called Damien Platt who said he was from "Civil Justice Centre Hertford," saying we owe £2200 for some advert with Building Control. He tried to scare us with a CCJ and demanded £795 right away. We never placed any advert, and the address he gave doesn't even exist. I saw on this site that he’s been ringing others too from different numbers with the same story. Totally a scam. Real High Court Enforcement officers don’t ask for bank transfers over the phone - don’t send this bloke any money. Definitely report it to Action Fraud and keep your guard up.
