Got a call from 07387968900 and it was pretty unsettling! It was an automated message with a woman speaking in a posh American accent, sounding all official like. She said she was calling on behalf of HMRC and accused me of not paying my income tax, even threatened arrest if I didn’t respond. Then she told me to press a button to speak to a supervisor. Honestly, I just listened for a sec, had a laugh, and then ignored it. I’ve never owed HMRC a penny! It’s such a nasty SCAM. Honestly worried that some folks might freak out and fall for it. Just a heads up - block this number!
