On July 16th 2024, I got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming my IP had been rerouted to California. They wanted me to visit certain websites and install some software, which I flat out declined. I really don’t get how an IP could be diverted like that? After standing my ground, the caller just hung up, and that was the last I heard of it… at least for now. Definitely make sure to report these scammers. Cheers, Alain.
