Someone rang me pretending to be a high court enforcement officer, saying I owed money from a court writ. Thing is, I’d never got any writ through the post. When I looked up the reference number he gave me, it turned out to be fake. He kept threatening that officers would arrive at my house in half an hour, but nobody ever turned up. He was constantly pushing for payment and even offered a reduced amount which made me really suspicious. Watch out for this sort of scam!
