He called me twice saying he was from O2, claiming to be some dodgy salesman. I told him off saying he already has my info right in front of him on his computer, but he insisted on confirming my email. The bloke was an Asian guy with a proper English name - felt a bit fishy so I just blocked the number now.

Got a call from a bloke called 'Peter' speaking with a strong Indian accent, saying he was from some 'Network 3'. Total con, trying to say he was from my phone provider - which he couldn’t even say the proper name of - and then asked for my bank info to supposedly upgrade a package I don’t even have. Ridiculous.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, saying they were going to cancel my SIM card. I’m not even a Vodafone customer, so I told him to take my info off whatever list he had and then ended the call. He rang back immediately, asking why I’d cut him off, and then suddenly said he was with the UK Magistrates. Proper dodgy!

Had pretty much the same thing happen to me. Some bloke kept claiming he was from O2 and threatened to switch off my phone service and cancel my SIM because apparently I hadn’t paid up. I told him flat out I’ve never been with O2 in the first place (which is true!). Got two more calls from a very similar number after that. Each time I just blocked the numbers because they were only a tiny bit different.
