I got a call from someone pretending to be EE, telling me to update my bank details. Quite suspicious if you ask me!

Got a text claiming “HMRC: You might qualify for a tax refund of up to £463.00. Please check and apply at [#]hmrc.ref-427 [###]” Don’t bother clicking that link or even opening the message, just block the sender. HMRC would never send a text asking you to claim money like that.

Got this text supposedly from the DVLA saying I've got a refund for vehicle tax because of an overpayment. It asked me to click a secure link to sort it out. Definitely a scam though, the DVLA doesn’t send texts like that. Just ignore it!

Got a dodgy text claiming it was from the DVLA about a car tax refund. Thing is, I haven't owned or driven a car for over a decade! Definitely a scam if you ask me.
