Got a message from this number pretending to be Vodafone, saying I had some kind of bonus points waiting to be claimed before they expired. I followed the link out of curiosity. The site seemed kinda legit and showed some ‘prizes’ you could apparently claim, but you needed to pay a bit over £5 first. That’s when they asked for my card info, and that’s when it got dodgy - it tried to link my card up to Google Pay, which obviously set alarm bells ringing.
