BEWARE - I got a text about a parking fine supposedly from 21st September 2024, saying it’s nearly 14 days old. It warned that after today, the 50% discount wouldn’t be available. The message threatened legal action and big fines if the charge, which was apparently issued by the local council, isn’t paid within 14 days. It asked me to enter my car registration on a sketchy link: https://bit.ly/47UfVr7?bMG=TtqX6pK0Kh to check details. They also said if I want to dispute the fine, I had to pay first before appealing. Sounds fishy to me, so I wouldn’t click or pay anything!
