I got a message from someone saying they were Simon, asking to have a chat. I replied, asking who exactly they were and why they wanted to talk, but they never got back to me.

I got a handwritten note with my full name and address, written by a woman and stuck on my front window with a 1st class stamp. It said: "Hi (my first name), please ring Jenny urgently on 07385822889." I tried calling the number a couple of times, at different points during the day, but it just rang out with no reply. I also texted the number asking Jenny to get back to me, but the message showed as green and I haven’t heard a thing since.

I got a suspicious phone number scribbled on a bit of paper in the mail, saying to ring straight away to talk to someone called Jenny. Definitely looks like a scam to me.
