I got a text from 07385762412 yesterday saying something about HSBC and a payment of £240 to some bloke called Mr C Jones. It included a suspicious link and claimed I needed to cancel it if I hadn’t made the payment. Thing is, I don’t even have an HSBC account! I can imagine how someone who banked with them or was in a rush might freak out when they see that. These scammers really are the worst.
