Got a text saying it was from HSBC, telling me a payment was tried on a new device on 10/05 at 15:28. It asked me to check a link if it wasn’t me: hs-onlinebanking-verifypayeealert[###]/login. Thing is, I don’t even have an HSBC account. This has popped up a couple of times already and I’m pretty sure it’s just a con.

Got a text saying it was from HSBC, something about a payment tried from a new device on the 10th of May at 3:28 pm. It asked me to go to a link to confirm if it wasn’t me. Problem is, I don’t even have an HSBC account. This isn’t the first time I’ve got messages like this, and honestly, I’m pretty sure it’s just a scam.
