Looks like a total scam to me. Got a message from HSBC about a new payee called C Jones for £250.00. If you didn’t make that payment, better not open any links in it. This popped up around 3rd of May. A mate of mine had the same text but from another number and he just junked it before I could even check with him.

Just got a text about some new payee added to an HSBC account, asking me to confirm it at a sketchy looking web link ending with /HSBC. Definitely seems like a scam to me. Deleted it right away!
