Just got a txt supposedly from HSBC UK saying a new payee called MR P SHERMAN got added to my online banking. Thing is, I don’t even use HSBC! If you don’t know this person either, don’t click anything - it has a sketchy link like New-payer[###]. I’m going straight to report it to Action Fraud ASAP. Stay safe out there!

Got a call saying it was some kind of security check and they needed my bank info, but I don't even have an account with the bank they named. Seemed fishy to me.
