Last night in Southampton, I received a call from a chap who claimed to be named Charles and apparently worked for some housing assistance team. With an Indian accent, he actually sounded quite convincing, especially since I’m residing in a housing association flat. After a bit of a chat, I was transferred to his supervisor, Julie, who had a distinct Welsh lilt in her voice. Things took a turn when she began pressuring me to send photographs of my home. When I refused, her tone became rather confrontational. I've since blocked that number across the board-phone calls, WhatsApp, and texts. Yet today, I've been inundated with messages and calls from various other numbers, all demanding pictures of my property! It's quite maddening-I've blocked them all again!
