i got a call from someone sayin they were from lloyds bank about a mortgage, but it felt dodgy so i rang up the bank on a different number. they confirmed it was really their mortgage manager and told me id actually booked a meeting with them already. they even said thanks for double checking, which was nice.

Got a call from someone saying she was Heather Morgan, a mortgage adviser at Lloyds. It sounded a bit fishy since she was ringing from a mobile, so I didn’t give any details. She asked for my bank account number and date of birth which made me suspicious, so I phoned Lloyds myself. They said no one had tried to get in touch with me today, especially not using a mobile. Seems like a dodgy scam, watch out!
