Definately a scam, just ignore it.

You really ought to add this number to the police’s scam list. Just search for 'Action Fraud' on Google, then head to the 'police.uk' website. From there, find the part about reporting and flag it as a phishing scam. It’s quick, doesn’t need any sign up, and honestly takes about the same effort as putting it on here.

My mum’s in her seventies and she got a text about some tax refund. Definitely a scam.

Got a message from this number saying it was the DVLA and that I was owed a refund for vehicle tax because I paid too much. They wanted me to click on a “secure” link to claim it. Don’t be fooled by this scam! I don’t even have a car.

Got a message saying I’m due a refund from the DVLA… total rubbish, no chance it’s legit. Seriously, don’t even bother with that number. My tip? Mark as spam and block it straight away.
