I received a phone call on my home line from someone using this number, asserting that he was affiliated with my local HSBC branch. He mentioned needing some personal information to assist with setting up an “E-banking” account or some such nonsense. When I politely declined, he turned quite pushy and a bit hostile. I had no choice but to end the call abruptly. Honestly, I'm left with a nagging suspicion that he wasn't legitimate at all!
