Somebody rang me saying they were from Virgin O2, trying to sell me a new SIM card. I decided to have a bit of fun and kept joking about ‘O2 Vermin’ and calling them rats. I carried on like that for a few minutes, and you could tell the person on the other end was getting pretty annoyed and frustrated. After about two and a half minutes, they just hung up. Later, I popped into an O2 shop, and they told me O2 never make calls from mobile numbers like that. Definitely a dodgy scam call.

Never answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise, so I just let it ring out. No idea who it was.

The moment I picked up, they just hung up. Then they called back in like five minutes, but I ignored it and let it ring out. Not even a message left on the voicemail.
