Got a text saying it was from 02 about some payment issue, with a link to click on. I didn't tap the link and my phone, which isn't even with 02, is still fine and working normally. Seems like a scam to me.

I received a message from 07464601612, definitely not starting with 02, so I'm pretty sure it's a scam.

yeah, I got a message from 07765435941 too. I didn't even think about pressing the link since it looked dodgy. normally when I get texts from 02 they show up with a name, not just a number, so it felt fishy to me.

Just got a message claiming: 02 couldn't process my recent bill and to dodge extra charges, I need to update my payment details at this link [#]o2[###].bil551[###]/202=2. Strange thing is, the number it came from is Vodafone, not 02. Checked the WHOIS info for the website’s IP (111.90.149.79) and it's based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - pretty dodgy if you ask me. Definitely a scam in my book. I'll be ringing up 02 customer support first thing tomorrow to let them know about this.
