I received a notification stating that my Visa card had been charged a whopping £900. When I enquired further and requested to verify my identity for security reasons, they abruptly cut off the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Just got a call about dodgy transactions on my card, sounded like one of those bank scams. Anyone else get this kinda thing? They kept asking about payments I never made, pretty sure it was fishy.

So this bloke called me pretending to be ‘Mike Hatton’ from ‘Microsoft Support.’ He said my computer had been targeted by hackers or something like that. I was like, why would Microsoft be ringing about my Mac? Then he says Microsoft works with Apple to make Macs. I couldn’t help but chuckle and just hung up on him!

The voice on the line had that unmistakable call centre ring. The individual on the other end insisted that my laptop had been compromised and claimed to represent the technical support team from Microsoft.

Got a call from some woman who said she was from Microsoft, saying my laptop was hacked. I told her I didn’t want to hear any of it. She then started cursing at me and said she’d “block your laptop this instant.” I blocked that number straight away, but just a few minutes later another call came through from a different number, going over the exact same nonsense.
