I'm really worried about this. My dad, who suffers from Alzheimer's, got a call from this number. The person on the other end actually knew my dad's name but quickly ended the call once I answered. I've already reported it to the police.

They ring me almost daily about solar panels, but always want to talk to someone who's actually passed away! When I mention this, they switch to trying to sell me solar batteries. I told him off as he was being quite disrespectful. He wasn’t happy at all and warned he’d call me daily for a month. I said I’d report him to the TPS and ICO. He hung up, but rang back nearly straight away - I didn’t pick up. Honestly, feels like a scammer who should be locked up somewhere in Glasgow!

10th March 2020, Tuesday at 10:51am. This number got in touch again. The first time they rang, they said they were from Bright Renewables UK. I've told them to take me off their list every single time - about five times so far - and they always say it’s fine, but they keep ringing me back every few weeks anyway. Is there any way to make them quit or get fined? They’re just one of around six or seven companies that keep bothering me like this, with two or three calls every week. Honestly, it’s getting pretty annoying now.

Loads of calls from mainly Scottish firms about my solar panels have been nonstop. Every time I block one number, they ring from a different one. If I even pick up, which I try not to, they're always quite sorry when I explain I’m not the right person - I live in a listed building so solar panels aren't allowed. One bloke suggested there was some loophole but I just ended the call. They've already phoned me a couple of times today alone. It’s really annoying.

Got two calls on my mobile today from what seemed like a spam bot, with those weird pauses to make it seem like a real person. Vodafone’s already flagged it as spam, so watch out for those if you get calls like that.

I picked up the phone and there was silence for a bit. Then it went click like someone joined the call. A lady asked if our director was there by his first name. I told her he wasn’t around, and she just hung up straight away. Probably just some spam call.

This number keeps ringing me up. The bloke on the other end somehow knows my name, but I’ve got no clue who he is. He’s phoned me loads of times, switching numbers each time - I’ve got a few of them saved now. Mostly, he calls in the arvo, but sometimes even on a Saturday. I know that voice well enough to hang up straight away, but honestly, it’s really unsettling. I reckon he’s messing about with number spoofing or something.

Got a call from an Asian man with a thick accent, really hard to catch what he was saying. Claimed to be about some Energy Grants for solar panels. When I asked where they got my details from, he first said some survey I supposedly completed. I told him I hadn’t done any survey, so then he changed it to say it was from the Government. Mentioned I’m on the TPS list, but these spam calls just keep coming in. They ended up just hanging up on me. Definitely blocked the number now.

Got a call from some guy named Sean claiming he was from an energy saving company in Glasgow. I told him straight away to stop calling and hung up. Then he rang once more, and I just cut him off again. The third time he called, he started laughing and said he gets paid for this and could keep going all day. I warned him I'd report the harassment, but he just shrugged and said, "Who exactly would you report me to? You don’t even know my name or my employer." It got really stressful, so I had to leave the phone off the hook. Properly annoying experience.

Got a call about solar panels today. Don’t have a clue how they got my number, said it’s from some solar database. Asked for their address, but they couldn’t tell me. Tried to get hold of a manager or ask them to ring me back, but no luck. I got other calls like this before, mostly with the last three digits changing, like 756 or 512. Very suspicious.
