Got a call last Saturday morning from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from Sky's tech support. I cut her off straight away, told her about the Telephone Preference Service, told her to jog on, and then ended the call. I've had nearly the same kind of call before from a different number. Just a load of time wasters, honestly.

Got a rather dubious call claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer had been compromised. They were unbelievably insistent. I hung up on them, but they rang back, insisting they'd disable my PC if I didn’t cooperate. I chose to end the call once more.

I got a recorded message claiming to be from BT saying something about changes to my phone service and to press 1 for assistance. I did press, and was connected to a woman who spoke with a really thick foreign accent. It was hard for me to catch what she was saying at all. Honestly, her strong accent made it impossible to follow the conversation, and even though I felt a bit awkward and stressed, I ended up hanging up the call. Quite a stressful experience.

Got a call from someone saying they were from the refunds team for BT or something like that. They said I was due a £220 refund but then asked for my full name, address and even my birth date. Obviously sounded dodgy to me, so I didn’t give anything away. I reckon it’s just another scam, maybe from India or somewhere like that.
