Got a call claiming to be from HMRC, and they were really aggressive. They said I owed money and if I didn’t pay, there’d be serious consequences. Felt totally like a scam, honestly. Be careful, folks!

I got a text from this number claiming I owed a parking ticket, which is rubbish because I’ve no fines at all. I wouldn’t trust them if I were you.

Got a robotic voice on the line claiming there’s been a £900 charge on my card, asking me to press some buttons. So sick of getting these scam calls all the time!

No voicemail left and no clue whose number this is.

Got a call from this number earlier, it was some automated voice claiming it was from a fraud department. It said a payment of £900 had been charged to my card and asked me to press 1 if I didn’t make the transaction. Obviously I didn’t press anything and just ended the call straight away!

The call went straight to my voicemail, but they didn't bother to leave any message.

I just put them on my block list.

They proposed to reimburse me for some excessive phone bills I was charged. Seems like a dodgy scheme to me.

Got a call today (15/04/2024 at about 11:05) supposedly from Visa debit security. I cut them off straight away and didn’t bother with their nonsense.

Someone called saying my internet was being wrongly used and threatened that my provider would cut me off. They told me to press 1 or 2 to talk to a specialist. I just hung up straightaway.

Was just talking to a woman called Rachel, said she was from Microsoft, sounded Asian. The moment I heard that, I just hung up straight away.

I got two calls from this number and they kept saying something about my internet being faulty, trying to make it sound like they were from Sky. I was a bit iffy right from the start and let the bloke know I wasn’t buying it. He went on for a bit, but I cut him off pretty quick.

Got a call from this number and some guy with an Asian accent said he was with Microsoft. He kept going on about my smartphone being hacked or something and wanted me to do all these things. Didn’t take well to me saying no and wasn’t happy when I questioned him.

Got another call from this number just two days after the first one. Yesterday, I flagged it as dodgy and left a warning here. Thought maybe it'd be a different number today, so I double-checked. When I called out the person who phoned today, they immediately hung up on me. Definitely a scam!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, and they just wouldn’t stop bugging me even after I said I don’t own any kind of computer or smartphone. If you get a call on your landline from this number, be super careful and don’t just assume the call’s ended when you hang up. I left the phone down for a while but the line stayed weird, none of the usual dial tone. After I kept hanging up a few more times, I could hear shouting coming from their side. Finally, the dial tone came back. Checked the number with 1471 and then looked it up here like I usually do. Be careful out there!

Got a call today at 11:54 in the morning, but when I answered, there was nothing but silence. After about 20 seconds, they just cut off. Such a pain and feels totally like a scam! Proper annoying behaviour.

I got calls over and over on a few of my numbers, this one was the first to ring. They kept calling back and got pretty pushy when i ended the call, asking why i’d hung up. Claimed it was something to do with my computer’s security. By the third time, they were threatening to block everything on my computer and even my landline. Properly aggressive behaviour.

Another typical scam call from someone claiming to be Indian... such a common trick these days.

Got a call from someone pretending to be Amazon Prime, saying they needed to check if they'd taken £99 from my bank. Thing is, I've never even signed up for Amazon Prime. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
