I renewed the subscription back in June anyway, and as far as I know, Amazon doesn't phone people - they usually get in touch by email.

Got a robo call claiming to be from Amazon, telling me they’d charge me £79.99 for a subscription renewal and to press 1 to confirm. I just ended the call. I’d actually sorted my renewal back in June, and from what I know, Amazon usually sends emails rather than calling.
