When asked what the call was about, I was told my current sim card was no longer compatible with their system and would stop working sometime next week. When I queried why I hadn't received any notification about this issue via TXT, email or post, I was simply told a 'new' sim card would be put in the post. I thanked her ;) She then asked for my email address! When I queried why she needed my email address when all they had to do was post a new sim card to the address on my account, she simply asked for my email again. When I repeated she didn't need my email, she hung up!! Spoke with O2 on the official 202 number and was told they NEVER use 'mobile' numbers for 'customer support' and confirmed there was NO ISSUE at all with my sim.
