Got a call from a number beginning with 073, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked all numbers with that prefix since I don’t recognise anyone using those. If your phone has a call blocking feature, I’d recommend adding 073 to the list of blocked areas. These calls often turn out to be scams about loft insulation, fake bank issues, Amazon problems, or even HMRC fraud. Also, numbers starting with 003, 004, 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 0177, 018, 019, 020, 028, 033, plus all those 07 prefixes like 073, 074, 075, 077, 078, 079 seem to be dodgy more often than not.
