Got a message about a parcel delivery from someone calling themselves "Post-Office". It wasn't linked to any actual post office, just a vague "Post-Office" name. The text said my parcel wasn't delivered and included a link for some "Post-office Payfee". Seemed a bit dodgy to me.

I’d say dont bother picking up for numbers you dont know, best thing is to look them up online first. There’s so many scammers these days it’s unreal.

Got a call from a private number and then from 07383611562. I just let them ring out and didn’t pick up. I decided to look it up here beforehand, glad I did. My phone actually gives me a heads up if it thinks the call might be dodgy, which saved me this time.

Got a call from a private number first but I didn’t pick up. Then the same number called me again, this time from 07383 611562. When I finally answered, it was some automated message about owing money. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number straight away.

If you wanna steer clear of falling for one of those debt management scams, it's really on you to do some digging and find a trustworthy person who can explain all the choices you got. Actually sitting down with someone face-to-face is super important, since loads of debt settlement firms just chat over the phone or by email. What’s the point in dealing with a company that isn’t even near you? If you ain’t meeting them in person, how do you know they’re legit? Never, ever send cash to anyone you haven’t met upfront.
