Got a call from some bloke saying he was from a finance firm, but the line was super quiet. He kept going on about Bitcoin investments and stuff. Totally sounded dodgy to me so I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Total rip off!

They keep calling me, acting like they're from various finance companies. Saying "I'm not interested" or even something stronger doesn't stop them. I blocked the number, but then they called again without showing a number. Total scammy idiots. Best just to block and forget about them.

I picked up the phone but there was total silence on the other end. No one said a word.

Got a call earlier and an automated voice told me my national insurance number had been hacked and to ring back. I just hung up and stared at my phone. Blocked the number straight away. Total scam! Shame no one actually spoke to me, I’d have given them a piece of my mind. I’m employed by a government agency, and it’s about time scammers like this got a taste of their own medicine. I’ve already reported the number. Watch out, folks!

They've started calling from UK numbers instead of the usual foreign or premium ones. I got two calls from the same number but nobody picked up when I answered. Seems like a new trick to make you think it's a genuine call.

Got a call from some bloke who just said, "Hello, how's it going?" and the moment I said, "Fine, cheers," he hung up on me. TIP FOR ANYONE GETTING SCAM CALLS - drag the convo out as much as you can, humoring their nonsense and having a bit of a laugh with them. If loads of us do this, those annoying scam and spam calls won’t be worth a penny to the nasty few behind them. Seriously, just spare a couple minutes for a bit of fun messing about with them. Proper laugh! Hahaha!

Got a call from someone with a strong Asian accent asking for a Mr Chris. I said that wasn’t me and then they wanted to know who I was talking to, but all they did was ask for my name. I wasn’t interested enough to keep them hanging around, so I just hung up. Probably some kind of scam anyway.
