Got a call from a lady with an accent, saying we should get a refund of about £200 on our phone bill or something. She asked for our personal info, but we told her no way and asked if she could just send a cheque. She said they don’t do cheques at all. Pretty clear that was a scam, as I’m sure the next step would’ve been to try and get our bank info to “send” the refund.

I figured BT calling me on my mobile might be a legit thing, thought maybe they’ve gotten smarter - guess not.
