I picked up thinking it might be someone I was waiting to hear from. They actually used my name right away, which definitely set alarm bells ringing. When I asked who was calling, their reply was something like, "So it's you, the right number or not?" I told them they’d got the wrong person and then they just cut the call. Seems like a classic scam. I blocked the number straight away and passed the details on to the police through my phone provider, hoping they can do something about these scammers.

Got a call saying they could help with my debts, which I don’t have btw. They wanted me to pay some money before they even contacted anyone, then vanished completely. Pretty clear it was a scam. Reported it to Action Fraud just in case.
